Blackbook 04 – EKSIT

£65.00

The fourth BLACKBOOK opens a new chapter: more than 30 years of graffiti and the impressive work of EKSIT, a key figure of Düsseldorf’s second graffiti generation.

EKSIT is considered a tireless writer – someone who won’t stop unless circumstances leave no choice. For him, graffiti is more than just style and aesthetics: it’s an outlet and a balance. Between everyday life and the underground, he lives the classic double life of a writer – releasing pressure, escaping into another world, and always returning to walls and trains.

His style has continuously evolved, shaped by speed and dynamics that influenced his letters from the very beginning.

For this book, an enormous amount of material was available – enough to fill thousands of pages. The result, however, is a concentrated, high-quality selection: over 550 carefully curated photos from EKSIT’s private blackbooks, complemented by his personal thoughts and guest contributions from renowned graffiti artists such as AGIT, FUME, LEEDS, ROY, MICKEY, JAKE, UNIT, and OPAK.
