Description
MTN PRO Zinc 99% is a fast drying zinc-rich primer with a matte appearance and characteristic zinc grey colour.
Especially suitable for the protection against corrosion of metallic surfaces such as fences, tanks, weld joints, galvanized parts, industrial vehicles, coastal facilities, railway equipment etc.
This product provides the best anti rust protection of the MTN PRO range.
This product, despite being commonly called a zinc primer, is also valid as a topcoat. Formulated with a very high concentration of metal (zinc), in addition to providing cathodic protection, the highest level of corrosion protection, it preserves metal properties, such as weldability, and conductivity.
If the finish is not suitable for your project it can used as a primer – it’s great for items at high risk of oxidation or must have high durability, and then can be painted over for your desired colour and finish.
It is commonly used as an anticorrosive paint for structural steel, railway equipment, welding joints, tanks, vehicles and many others.

APPLICATIONS
As an undercoat and finish for protection against corrosion of ferrous surfaces in all types of environments through active cathodic protection.

Due to its conductive nature, it is suitable for welding processes. Resistant up to 350ºC.
• Shake the aerosol well before using, approximately for one minute after hearing the sound of the mixer
• Apply to clean, dry surfaces
• Remove corrosion with a wire brush
• For best results apply in thin layers – three thin layers are always better than one thick one, and may be repainted within fifteen minutes with the same paint
• During application it is recommended to shake the spray can periodically
• Turn the aerosol upside down to clean out the valve after use
• If the nozzle becomes blocked replace it with a new one
• Never apply to equipment that is plugged in
• Use in well ventilated areas
