Description
The Be Creative Studio stretched canvases are manufactured with a superior quality, acid-free, 100% cotton canvas with a medium grain. The canvas is coated with 3 coats of acrylic primer to create a ready-to-use 380gsm painting surface suitable for both oils and acrylics. The triple priming ensures the colour on the surface holds heavy colour applications without cracking and prevents seepage to the back of the canvas.
All Be Creative canvases are back stapled to allow painting around the sides for a contemporary look and can be hung without framing. Canvases are individually shrink wrapped to protect the surface. Thin (standard) 18mm (3/4″), kiln-dried timber stretchers. The larger sizes are cross-braced for additional strength.
