Hall of Fame recreates an authentic laneway scene in miniature, available with a flat or brick-textured surface. Built from 7 or 14 individually 3D-printed elements, every piece arrives with a primed surface and is fully ready for customisation, artistic decoration, and creative realisation.

This nearly 500-page book is the comprehensive publication for the HALLENKUNST exhibition project in the Chemnitz market hall – one of the defining highlights of the European Capital of Culture 2025. Instead of merely capturing moments, the volume conveys the atmosphere, attitude, and visual intensity of the exhibition into a lasting format.

Conceptually, the work follows the structure of the double exhibition, but reinterprets it as an independent publication. In the first section, the HALLENKUNST Timeline “From New York to Europe” illuminates the development of writing and train graffiti over several decades. From the first wholecars in New York City to digital strategies, social media, and new forms of presentation in institutional contexts, the movement is placed in its historical and aesthetic context.

The second part is dedicated to the international group exhibition featuring over 40 artists and crews. Their works demonstrate how an urban counterculture has become an integral part of the global art world. A multifaceted picture emerges of a scene that has long been engaged in dialogue with museums, galleries, and collections, encompassing classic style writing, urban contemporary art, photography, and installation art.
